Whatcha Workin' on Wednesday

I just decided to join in. And here's what I've been working on today.....

We went to a TS Saturday morning and found this box. I'm not sure what it would have been used for. At first, I thought maybe a bread box but it has a divider in the middle of it. Jimmy spotted it and it was only $4.00. I sanded the lovely flowers off the lid and then Jimmy painted and distressed it.

I love the way it turned out. I haven't decided where I'm going to put it yet. But for now it's sitting on the freezer in the kitchen.

Head on over to Leslie's and see what everyone's been working on.

Hope you have a great evening.

Blessings,

thanks for stopping by my blog. I love seeing all the things everyone finds on the TS. All I can seem to find around here is Goodwill and they are much more pricey. I'll have to keep looking.

I love your TS find! It is so fun to go on those hunts. How nice of your hubby to paint it and distress it for you. :)

Black is one of my favorite colors for furniture and bigger pieces. I am working on a small rocker now that I painted black today and will distress tomorrow. :) If only I could do this full time, that would be great!

Stacey

Hey Susan! Nice to "meet" you and thanks for your advice about removing the snow effect! I was looking in my html codes and couldn't find it! I didn't realize when I installed it, that it was added in as a gadget! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I am adding you to my blogroll so I can come back and visit you again. I look forward to getting to know you!
Have a wonderful day!

Susan,

That's a great find! The makeover is great! I agree with Beth in that one of those old labels would be great or a prim knob and maybe a rusty star put on front. I guess it could be used for just about anything. If bread would fit in it, I would be tempted to use it that way!

Blessings,
Tammy
